Review of Life Is Beautiful (1997) by Hannah D — 16 Jul 2012
At first I thought I had made a mistake renting this film as it got off to a very boring start, but I'm so relieved I persisted with it as it improved so much once Guido, his wife and son were taken to the concentration camp, where Guido pretended it was all a game to hide the awful reality from his child.
I find it puzzling that some people thought it mediocre. It's anything but.
