Review of Life Is Beautiful (1997) by Jayakrishnan R — 13 Oct 2015
Thumbs Up.

Roberto Benigni gives a hopeful and thoroughly masterful performance in a film that is just a variety, a one of it's kind. In a sense, I find it even more meaningful than Schindler's List. Who could have thought of such an idea, there is even hope in this kind of a terribly unfortunate time, who could have thought. Life is beautiful works easily as a comedy, a love story and a work on father-son relationship. I didn't know that Benigni directed the movie, he does a great job and that he got an Oscar as well, that's a well deserved award.
