Review of Life Is Beautiful (1997) by Notliam — 08 Feb 2019
Life is Beautiful, directed by Roberto Benigni, stars himself, Giorgio Cantarini, Nicoletta Braschi, Horst Buchholz and other Italian stars.I personally would rate the movie a 8.5/10; for the reasons of, that it poked “fun” at the Holocaust, furthermore the story died out after a while, and the language barrier, with the technology that we have today as a human society (since its on an online video provider) it should have at least been translated/revered into English but the subtitles were ok and pushed the story-telling.
I would recommend this movie to someone who has some knowledge of the Holocaust and the Pact of Steel which makes Italy a Nazi/Aizs country under Benito Mussolini (who was “friends” with Hitler).
