Oh my god, what a piece of crap. I was really hungry for a new sci-fi movie, but this just made me sad, and annoyed. Just like astronauts/scientists would breach protocol in such a catastrophic way. The whole premise of this drama, is ridiculous.

As for the final escape part, where they would attempt to use the escape pod, to take the alien out into deep space, it's beyond silly. An escape pod would never have enough delta V to get anywhere close to escape velocity, and astronauts would know this.

I am very annoyed by the fact that movies set in a "universe" where technology is based on current tech, have such a high disregard for the actual science.
