Review of Life (2017) by Richard S — 18 Dec 2018

Life is working off the Alien template in that alien life is discovered, alien life turns out to be far more intelligent than expected, people die and then great sacrifices are made to ensure alien life never reaches Earth. Life however, is set a little more on the side of realism than the Alien franchise. The crew are aboard the International Space Station when life is discovered from a sample retrieved on Mars. Everyone celebrates including those on Earth when news reaches home but then mistakes are made, life escapes and begins to get stronger after every encounter with the crew of the space station.

I thought this was a decent sci-fi / horror / thriller with a great cast and a well designed and realistic creature to pit them against. Doesn't bring anything new to the genre but it was very entertaining and had a superb ending.
