Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Andy C — 01 Apr 2010
This was a controversial Bond outing at it's time of release due to it's use of really quite brutal more graphic violence in comparison to it's kin.
The story is also less of a twisted world domination plot and more of Bond taking on an evil drug empire. From people being half eaten by sharks to being thrown into mincing machines or getting burned alive it's certainly less family friendly.
With strong co stars and a rather complicated plot for a Bond film though (not to mention no less than two people who wet on to be in Mortal Kombat) It's become one of my Bond favourites.
