Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Daniel C — 13 Dec 2008
Quite a dark note to this Bond, particularly in terms of violence, although the choreography was lacking in a few scenes which let it all down. Sanchez was a worthy opponent, but this may have played out better if it were a mission instead of a vendetta.
There was a lull in the middle which lost me as well but the climax was quite worth it. Too bad Dalton didn't do more Bond films, he did a good job in the two he featured in.
