Review of Leviathan (2014) by Stanley F — 23 Nov 2014
A grim and unrelenting tale of the small man being crushed between the cogs of Institutions, in this case State and Church.
I found it compelling, tragic and , at times, beautiful.
The Russians certainly seem to have an talent for doomed-life stories, but I didn't detect any profound wisdoms here. Just a good tale, well told, directed, shot and acted .
