Review of Leviathan (2014) by Sakis F — 01 Mar 2015
The director makes the viewer feel like he lives in northern Russia with all its melancholy and chillness in the air very much like Dostoyevsky does with his writing. It was one of those films that kept popping in my head for several days after watching it.
Great acting by A. Serebriakov in his portrayal of drunken Kolya,.
