A look into the lives of those living in a small fishing village in northern Russia by the Barents Sea. Characters with great flaws and beliefs struggling with corruption, love, and loss in the eyes of god.
Leviathan is a powerful, well put together film that is visually captivating. So often are scenes shot in the early morning or during the setting of the sun setting a tone visually that compliments the heavy script.
