A Saturday morning classic. This is def the poor man's Abyss, with the always cool Peter Weller and goofy Daniel Stern dicking around a marine station when they find a sunken Ruskie ship that has some nasty mutageneic contents that cause a some Peter Benchley nightmarish creature to arrise.
. The god damn monster doesn't show up until 5 minutes before the credits though. Great sets and costumes though.
