Review of Letter from an Unknown Woman (1948) by Millo T — 04 Apr 2014
I am a great fan of Stephan Zweig, particularly his historic assays, and was impacted by the open-hearted, urgent and suffering letter sent by this woman in the original short story. This feeling is very difficult to traslate to the screen, where images substitute first-person narration.
However, although it is not as brilliant as the original, it is not a bad adaptation.
