Review of Letter from an Unknown Woman (1948) by Ke H — 13 Jun 2014
This film is a protoexperimental film about a tragic romance. The narrative is unconventional and I found the subject risque for its time.
What I loved about the film is that it challenges the viewer to pay attention to every scene. What I least liked about the film is that Brand has the depth of a cardboard figure. There are so many factors that shape real playboys like Brand, but the film's portrayal is so simplistic.
