Review of Let It Be (1970) by Orla T — 01 Aug 2008
Such amazing talent. In spite of the cracks widening between the band personally, it's hard to see in this film - particularly between John & Paul - when they are playing together on the rooftop.
It's just so difficult to sense the deep-seeded resentment in this film, (yes, John looks bored when Paul harps on unintelligibly, and Ringo looks bored throughout, but, hey, they were in the middle of recording) hence, we need a re-edit which shows the reality more clearly.
I love this film nonetheless.
