This movie absolutely destroys the story of Les Miserables that I love so much. It distorts many of the the characters and events, and consequently the morals and themes of the original book. The acting and cinematography were okay.
..but I could barely stad to watch it without ripping my hair out, because it betrayed the book it was "based" on and that I love so much that I can't help but hate it.
