Review of Les Misérables (1998) by Ashley T — 11 Jul 2010
Although I knew going in that this wasn't a musical version of the story -- and I've never seen the stage adaptation, but am familiar with some of the songs -- I still missed the production numbers a great deal.
Without them, the story is way too heavy-handed and I couldn't remain focused.
