Review of Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man (2006) by Nik B — 27 Jun 2009
Since Cohen is such a captivating figure, I think this movie could have included more of him. His words, his stories, maybe even some archive footage. The performances are fine, but I wasn't looking for them to be centerpiece.
Having said that, the worst part of the movie is the lip-synched collaboration with U2. It looked so labored that it should have beena dvd extra instead the closer. A cold and broken hallelujah.
