Review of Lenny (1974) by Abbie P — 01 May 2008
I learned some things watching this movie. If it hadn't been for Lenny Bruce, George Carlin, Chris Rock, and the like wouldn't be comedians today. The movie is a little uneven, but I think Fosse did it that way simply because Lenny's life was uneven as well.
I can't help but wonder what Lenny would have to say about America now.
