Review of Lenny (1974) by Brandon W — 07 Jun 2011
One of the great films of the 1970's this is a forgotten masterpiece. Although Fosse's great direction and a well-written script stand out, the performances from Dustin Hoffman and Valerie Perrine are some of the best put on film.
This film is not fun, but should be seen with Fosse's other films Cabaret and All That Jazz. Nominated for 6 Oscars including Best Picture.
