Review of Lenny (1974) by Evan D — 16 Nov 2006
Why after all these years is this film not memorable and barely known by the average movie goer??? I still dont know the answer. Lenny is a one of a kind film a drama that goes beyond the average limits. And is strongly anchored by two fabulous performances. The film feels like a documentary... Hoffman doesnt play Lenny Bruce... he is Lenny Bruce (or so it seems) truly a forgotten classic, check this one out.
