This movie is an amazing film with a really great story to it. The film has a majority of scenes that feel very intense, quiet, and with constant emotion. In my opinion the film has an all star cast, though some may object.
I very much loved the narration and the music, which almost brings to life the quiet scenes, as it made me feel the intense emotions of each characters feelings. The movie caused me to think and wonder how I would react in such unbelievable circumstances.
Brad Pitt displays an amazing acting job as his character Tristan, the middle aged son to whom was the fathers favorite. The movie takes place around the mid 1950's? Three very close brothers growing up together all their lives and have now fully blossomed into fine young men.
For the time being they were living on their ranch in the countryside with their father whom is an ex general, but now despises the government. The adventure of the three boys begins on but one path, eventually realizing that personal choices lead the brothers to lives of much different and separate ones.
The choices the brothers make during their lives lead to tragedy, lies, and unexpected turns that are both, heartbreaking and tragic ...loved this film and scene it loads of times.
