Review of Legends of the Fall (1994) by The3Academysins — 10 Jun 2018
In spite of it's storytelling and writing flaws, Legends of the Fall is a strong character drama, a beautifully shot and romanticized period piece about the West at the turn of the century, and has cemented itself as a modern classic.
The performances are the truly strong parts of the movie, particularly Brad Pitt and Aiden Quinn, and Pitt especially shines as a romantic lead. A story of brotherhood, love, loss, and family, Legends of the Fall has a little something for everyone, if you can get past the clunky script and direction.
