Review of Legends of the Fall (1994) by Chris R — 24 Apr 2010
Probably my favorite movie of all time. This movie puts life into a perspective that I feel most men can relate with. The dicotomy of the human element illustrated through the differences of the brother's personalities was incredible.
I was extremely impressed with the way relationships were placed into view and exposed from a masculine perspective. This truly is a man's movie, but has enough psychological truth that it would probably appeal to women as well.
Incredible movie in all aspects. Who can't relate to Tristan's need for self exploration? I wished they would have included the deleted scenes to better illustrate Tristan's internal conflicts.
If not Tristan, there is a plethora of other characters that most everyone should at least be able to relate with. May the spirit of the bear forever live on in this masterpiece!
