Review of L'Eclisse (1962) by Brian B — 07 Jun 2007
LEclisse is a really good film. The cinematography and lighting are outstanding. My criticism is that there really isnt a story at all. It is charactor driven, I understand that, but even the most charactor driven film must have some semblance of a story.
That being said the cinematic aspects more than make up for that downfall. Also Monica Vitti is ravishing. Overall 3/4 Stars Grade = B.
