Overall, this movie just didn't work. It was a comedy and I didn?' laugh once. The set-up isn't very unique, nor is the overall exposition. It just sort of meanders around silly faces and an fake old time feel - but when I say fake, the production looks good, it just seems disingenuous.
The actors seem like they are making a real effort, but it still comes across as wooden, and I don't know if it was supposed to be. I think that was the main gist of this movie. The predictable story and gags just make it a real chore to watch this movie and make me wonder if it appealed to anyone who isn't infatuated with one of the leads.
