US football on the cusp of becoming a pro sport with...rules. The main story is about an unlikely war hero, due to strange circumstances, who becomes a football hero. At the same time, forces are at play to reveal his false hero status.
Directed by George Clooney, it's funny but not as good as it could have been. The dialogue, especially Zellwegger's, seems forced.
