Review of Leap of Faith (1992) by Jeff R — 23 May 2009
Leap Of Faith is your typical average Steve Martin film but it's different. The reason I say it's different is because this is not The wild and crazy guy this time, what we see in this film is a different kind of Steve Martin, a dramatic version of himself. Fraudlent preacher Jonas Nightingale's tour bus gets stranded in a small town and as a result he and his comrades have to wait for 4 days to get the truck fixed, Jonas comes up with the idea of hosting his show in the town but the town sheriff gets suicipous of him.
My Final word: If you expect this movie to be another one of his golden classics as the wild and crazy guy! Think again because this movie is not.
