Review of Leap of Faith (1992) by Tom P — 03 Dec 2009
A disappointing effort from one of the comedy giants of our time.
There were few laughs to be found..if any.
The sentimentality was layered on with a trowel.
I was reminded of the quote " Only a strong hearted man could watch the death of little nell without...bursting into laughter".
Martin is convincing in the role but the script was so wafer thin he had little to convince us of.
