Its not the worst Steve Martin film.
I remember watching this when I was a kid. I thought it was funnier then. As a Christian, it can be somewhat offense, but I realize that there is nothing sacred in comedy and feel that I can be objective enough to overlook my personal beliefs.
Debra Winger is kind of annoying in the film, though I never really enjoy her in anything I've seen her in that I can think of.
The movie is also pretty formulaic, but it is still entertaining and worth a view.
