While Grand Prix was the greatest movie ever made about Formula 1, THIS was the greatest movie ever made about Sports Car Racing. In much the same style, it's a no-nonsense look at the 24 Hrs of Lemans race in France, and the rivalry between Ferrari and Porsche for racing immortality.
Very little in the way of dialogue or plot, and barely a story beyond the race itself, it doesn't matter, all that matters is racing, and this movie captures it perfectly.
