This was a pretty satisfying epic. Lean has a certain knack for making long films. It's not like he makes them *interesting*, per se, but rather that he makes them interesting enough to make me avoid thinking about what else it is that I have to do.
All in all this was a worthy classic, grand in scope and with no real flaws. Good movie.
