Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by Kyle A — 10 Jul 2011
Watching "LoA" for the first time in an extremely warm apartment probably wasn't the best idea, but I still enjoyed this David Lean epic. Alec Guinness plays an amazing arab prince, and O'Toole's Lawrence is far more complex than I pictured going into the movie.
As everyone states, the cinematography is the whole shebang, as is the scope of the story. The 'war for Arabia' is full of detail, the biggest antagonist: the desert.
