Yeah, this is an epic. No question about that. It's just an unforgettable experience of a movie. In fact, it's not even about its heavy handed plot. It's about the experience of being in the desert, told from the point of view of a man who considers it all a lark then gets the lesson he deserves but not the one he wants.
What motivates him, though? And what makes the experience of the movie so unique? It's just a slow, boring movie about the desert, right? Well...
