Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by Skye T — 06 Apr 2014
Undeniably the most influential epic from the 1960s and for the right reason. Peter O'Toole's star-making performance is rich in subtleties, as is Robert Bolt's glorious screenplay, the cinematography and David Lean's direction.
It's the fastest 3 hours and 45 minutes I've spent in the cinema and I love it just as much, if not more, with each subsequent viewing.
