Review of L'Avventura (1960) by Thomas M — 17 Jul 2010

Antonioni takes the harder road and doubles up on the beauty, whether in the form of every breathtaking inch of Italy, watching Monica Vitti mature into autonomy, or the show-not-tell commentary about life, love, and finding oneself in a non-adventure.
