My favourite bit: The scene where Noriko and her father attends the noh play and she spots the woman who Noriko thinks her father intends to marry; the mixture of sorrow and jealousy in her eyes as she observes her father's joy.
.. Obviously she thinks it's because he spotted the woman, but really he's just enjoying the play. Beautiful scene, beautiful movie - perhaps Ozu's best.
