Review of Late Spring (1949) by Ben W — 26 Jan 2008
So quiet and it seems equally as delicate. ozus composition in cinematography is pretty close to being unmatched and without having to spend any more money than what one might spend on the film to get it.
this is not a "riveting" film so those that are easily bored or ADD will definitely want to avoid it. but if your attention span is reasonable its really a great watch. so simple as all his films are yet profound in the way he approaches these stories.
