Review of Last Tango in Paris (1972) by Tom C — 31 Jul 2010
Incredibly moving filmmaking. Bertolucci is at the absolute top of his game. Storaro continues to prove to me that he may in fact be the greatest cinematographer to ever live. However, the one true reason to see this film is Marlon fucking Brando.
One of the greatest actors who ever lives gives the absolute best performance of his career. The scene by his wife's body is like a dream. He's too good to be true.
