Review of Last Tango in Paris (1972) by James B — 07 Mar 2009
It's hard to believe this film was ever considered obscene. After all, it's not so much about sex as it is identity, loss, grief, mortality, and a desperate man's search for meaning. Brando gets emotionally naked in this film, and the result is impossible to forget.
