Review of Last Tango in Paris (1972) by Patrick S — 14 Sep 2009

I really donâ??t fully comprehend this movie upon the first viewing but I do now understand what all the fuss was about when it premiered back in 1972 ;) Brando proves why he is one of the greatest actors of his time with his brutal, animalistic performance here about a man coming to terms with his wifeâ??s death.

But what I donâ??t get is why does the girl allow herself to be subjected to such treatment from a complete stranger?
