Review of Last Night (1998) by Aron K — 05 Jan 2008
This movie was fronted by Don McKellar, written, directed and acted in. For most viewers, even Canadians, you will likely find it slow-going. It is slightly depressing at times, and has its definite quirky Canadian themes.
It has a phenomenal cast, however and all pull off their roles with great style. Callum Keith Rennie is always, alwyas good as is Don. You may be interested to know both Sandra Oh and Sarah Polley are in this.
It has an interesting plot and if you enjoy independant film with strong themes this is a must-see from Canada's greatest performing artist... I stress the word ARTIST.
