Review of Last Life in the Universe (2003) by Kerim F — 30 Oct 2007
Beautiful film. Literally a string a pretty images. Christopher Doyle is a maestro of the symphony of color film. I'm also a lazy person who likes to watch lazy people contemplate nothingness without the use of drugs.
Henceforth I could watch "What Time is it There" again anytime I'm feeling in a sad mood.
In fact I could almost feel something for those frozen tears the girl sheds at the end. Imagine a slow movie as memories you can hold later on and it will make the viewing much richer and easier to take in.
