Review of Last Life in the Universe (2003) by Ben B — 10 Aug 2009
The last life in the universe is a slow moving story about what one does after they accidentally kill someone they love. While there are some unique and interesting moments cinematically, there are also some non-useful CG sequences thrown in.
Really, the film revolves around visuals, which are pulled off well, but not well enough to make up the whole 2 hours of the film. This movie could have done better as a short. The acting was only so so, but it was hard to tell, because they were so robotic.
Anyway, overall it wasn't a terrible film, but also not the most enthralling or even the most touching.
