Review of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life (2003) by Ian S — 22 Oct 2012
Entirely guessable plot, simplicity, lack of depth, "that cant really happen you know" -feelings when people don't seem to mind machine gun bullets fired at them, and general sillyness make this otherwise action filled shoot'em up a rather tedious experience.
Action is not believable, the special effects and stunts are all right though. The story is a bit silly, but thats not a problem if a movie is well done. This is basically similar storywise to the Librarian trilogy starring Noah Wyle, except Lara Croft 2 Cradle of Life lacks the sense of humor and the frame of reference (meaning that it doesn't try to explain its story even in its own terms).
