Well executed drama about relationships and marriage. great, subtle, nuanced acting all around lifts this film above most. a slow moving drama that never drags and cuts to the bone. in the end it is the breakdown of communication that fails these characters.
yes this is altman-esque in the way the characters are connected, but it never feels like a copy-cat.
