I don't understand why so many people refer to this film as a "comedy." It wasn't funny at all. I liked the premise of the film and I found some of the scenes compelling. I thought it had real potential.

However, I'm sorry to say that about halfway through the film I found myself hoping a real avalanche would come along and put the whole family out of their misery because they were so boring and pathetic.
