Review of Lalaloopsy Babies: First Steps (2014) by Kevin R — 10 May 2015
Perfectly perfect.
The Lalaloopsy girls weren't always big girls, at one time they were all babies together. The girls start thinking about their next adventure which causes them to reminisce about their first times meeting and the trouble they got into. Watch as the Lalaloopsy girls form their first bonds as friends.
"Are you sure that's a picture of you?".
Mike Bujniewicz, who worked on the Lalaloopsy, Wind Grinders, Hero 108, and Chloe's Closet television series, as well as the Lalaloopsy Ponies: The Big Show movie, delivers Lalaloopsy: Babies First Steps. The storyline for this picture is just okay but definitely kept my daughter's attention. The animation styles are just okay and made for TV quality and the voices fit the characters fairly well.
"I'm not wearing my lucky tiara!?!?!".
I came across this on Netflix and thought it would be a picture I'd enjoy watching with my daughter. This was fairly good and she was interested to see how the story played out; however, I can't say this added anything new to the genre or is worth adding to your child's DVD collection. I would watch this once with your child if they enjoy the series but would not recommend purchasing this film.
"Even if you fall I think I can catch you.".
Grade: C-.
