Review of Home Alone (1990) by Kevin R — 05 Dec 2018
A hilarious Christmas film. This movie is so good. It's a true laugh out loud comedy about an eight-year-old boy who's been accidentally left alone in his house when all of his family members went to the airport and on an airplane to move to spend Christmas somewhere else but forgot Kevin. The protagonist, Kevin McCallister, is perfectly played by McCaulay Culkin. The antagonists are two burglars who try to rob every house in the neighborhood while everyone who lives in those houses are away on Christmas vacation. The two antagonists Harry and Marv eventually find out that Kevin is home alone and the build-up is so great. Kevin sets up a bunch of booby traps for both of them. He is a very clever kid. Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern give great and hilarious performances in this movie and their chemistry is outstanding. The movie does a perfect job at humor and gags. One of the funniest films I have ever watched in my entire life.
Rating: 7.8/10.
