Review of Lakeview Terrace (2008) by Miguel P — 01 Dec 2009
Could have been better, but was terribly paced and just seemed to go on and on.
Defintly an interesting and well written story, but takes to long to get to the end result. If it had moved a little faster then this "thriller" could have been a little bit more thrilling and interesting.
Acting is fine by all. Jackson and Wilson manage to butt heads and create plenty of racial tension to keep you watching. Jackson manages to have the right level of creepiness and not-so-nice-guy-next-door appearance to make him pull of the character well.
It might be worth watching once if you're really interested to see it in the first place, but if you have no interest to begin with then you shouldn't feel bad skipping it.
"Y'know what Abel? F*** you.".
"Is that a 'We Are the World' f***k you?".
"No. It's a special one. Just for you.".
