Review of Lakeview Terrace (2008) by Kit L — 12 Mar 2010
The theme of interracial relations is at the heart of this suburban nightmare about a married couple terrorized by their patrolman next door neighbor. Samuel L Jackson is solid as always and a lesser actor would've seriously hurt the film's chance of finding an audience.
Kudos to producer Will Smith for seeing the potential in this intelligent thriller. Aaron Eckhart's walk on can be seen in the deleted scenes on the DVD. My only gripe is the pacing.
